JMP is a computer program that was developed to perform simple and complex statistical analyses. It dynamically links statistics with graphics to interactively explore, understand, and visualize data. This allows you to click on any point in a graph, and see the corresponding data point highlighted in the data table, and other graphs.

License Information
Terms & Conditions
May only be used for teaching and noncommercial research purposes. Commercial or for-profit use is not allowed. The software may be used by employees and on-site contractors.
For faculty and staff, JMP may be used both at the office and at home on a personally-owned machine as long as it is used on only one computer at a time.
Departments may purchase device licenses from the ITS Software Store. Students may purchase JMP from the Tech Shop for personally-owned equipment.
The software is restricted to use within the U.S. but may be used for up to 3 months in an annual license period in a country outside the U.S.
Use on a virtual machine or virtualized environment is allowed per the terms of our contract.

Consortium/Funding Info
This site license is funded by individual sales to university units. The UmichITAM software-sharing consortium funds a large portion. Contact [email protected] for information about joining UmichITAM. The rest of the university community can purchase device licenses from the ITS Software Store for university-owned devices or purchase from the Tech Shop for personally-owned devices.
