Terms & Conditions

This license is discounted for educational use (i.e., instructional and noncommercial research). Use of the software for commercial and/or business use is not permitted.

It may be installed and used on any official machines at the university, for the exclusive use of "full-time bona fide members" of the university (aka "licensed users"). This software must not be distributed to visitors or persons not officially connected with the university. You may install the software on personal machines (e.g., laptops) belonging to licensed users, provided that only they have access to the software.

This software has publication requirements when being used in academic research.

Consortium/Funding Info

The site license bundle is funded by a consortium, which currently includes the College of Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering department (MSE), and UmichITAM. University constituents not covered by this consortium can purchase individual licenses from the ITS Software Store via the link above.
