A platform for model-based, multi-disciplinary design, which supplies the basic functional and procedural infrastructure for the modeling, analysis, sizing and optimization of complex engineering systems. Provides unique modeling and analysis capabilities. Pacelab extends the platform with domain-specific functionality for preliminary aircraft design. Supports the evaluation of conventional & non-conventional configurations. SysArc adds a further functional layer for systems architecture design. Enables investigations and trade-offs at the aircraft level.

  • Use by regular employees to perform non-commercial research
  • Use by student teams for co-curricular activities, programs, and learning experiences

NOT PERMITTED:

  • Use by students for commercial research
  • Use by faculty for commercial research
  • Use by regular employees for commercial research
  • Instructional use, using proprietary data that will not be published
  • Use for University business not related to instruction
  • Use by visiting scholars
  • Use for instructional purposes by non-UM users, such as a visiting instructor teaching a one-time course in a training room
