Knitro

Artelys Knitro is an optimization software library for finding solutions of both continuous (smooth) optimization models (with or without constraints), as well as discrete optimization models with integer or binary variables (i.e. mixed integer programs). Knitro is primarily designed for finding local optimal solutions of large-scale, continuous nonlinear problems.

This is available to members of the Economics department in College of LSA. Econ department members can contact unit IT to inquire about access.

Consortium/Funding Info

LSA Economics funds a number of single user licenses for members of the department. There is also a floating license for high performance computing ("HPC") cluster use. The cluster license is restricted to Economics department personnel, but Economics is open to cost-sharing the cluster license with other university units. Send inquiries to [email protected].
