How to Get or Use This Software

CAEN Computer Labs

  • There are 2 versions of Hexagon Suite available in the CAEN Labs.  One version can be used for academic research, and the other version can be used for student instruction.
  • This software may only be used on campus.
College of Engineering students can use this software at a CAEN computer lab.

  • Use for U-M coursework for courses in which the student is enrolled and will receive a grade

  • Use by students, faculty, or regular employees to perform commercial or non-commercial research
  • Use by student teams for co-curricular activities, programs, and learning experiences
  • Instructional use, using proprietary data that will not be published
  • Use for University business not related to instruction
  • Use by visiting scholars
  • Use for instructional purposes by non-UM users, such as a visiting instructor teaching a one-time course in a training room
