The College of Engineering has a Camtasia license for use by College of Engineering faculty to support instruction. Information on how College of Engineering faculty can obtain a license key is available on the CAEN website.

Catalog Item is HERE. Attestation and confirmation is required before a license is given. Camtasia licenses are renewed yearly in late spring and users will need to request a new license key at that time.

Per the EULA linked below, the license does NOT allow us to "install or access (either directly or through commands, data or instructions) the Software from or to a Computer or device not part of your Internal Network." As such, remote access into a machine on campus or installation in the cloud (e.g., AWS) is not permitted.
Also in the EULA, "You shall not use the Library Content in any way that may be considered defamatory, pornographic, libelous, immoral, obscene, fraudulent or illegal, infringing upon any intellectual property rights of others or rights of publicity, an invasion of privacy or that would be reasonably likely to bring any person or property reflected in the Library Content into disrepute."

The limited access license for College of Engineering faculty is funded by the College of Engineering.
The limited access license for Michigan Medicine Faculty is funded by the Office of Medical Education.
