License Information
Terms & Conditions
The academic site license for Esri ArcGIS products covers use by active faculty, staff, students, and sponsored affiliates for activities whose primary purpose is university-related research or teaching. Administrative-use activities are also generally covered, however, by different license terms; contact Esri to determine if your administrative use is covered. The license permits installation of Esri ArcGIS products on university-owned, as well as personally-owned, computers.
Esri grants the right to permit use by university consultants or contractors exclusively for university benefit. Sponsored affiliates are covered. Because ArcGIS Pro requires one to login using an eligible umich account to validate access, they do need to have a sponsored affiliate (long-term) umich account as well.
License Expiration Date
Consortium/Funding Info
This site license is funded by a consortium of higher education institutions in Michigan, and that consortium agreement is managed by Central Michigan University.
