Twine

Twine is an open-source tool for telling interactive, nonlinear stories. You don’t need to write any code to create a simple story with Twine, but you can extend your stories with variables, conditional logic, images, CSS, and JavaScript when you're ready.

  • Use by regular employees to perform non-commercial research
  • Use by students for commercial research
  • Use by faculty for commercial research
  • Use by regular employees for commercial research
  • Use by student teams for co-curricular activities, programs, and learning experiences
  • Instructional use, using proprietary data that will not be published
  • Use for University business not related to instruction
  • Use by visiting scholars
